I Will Survive, Inc. (IWS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit Atlanta Breast Cancer Awareness Organization that empowers individuals at higher risk for or affected by breast cancer through financial assistance, prevention education, and wellness programs.
Breast cancer not only impacts health but often brings unexpected financial burdens, making it difficult for survivors to maintain housing stability. Our program is designed to ease this burden by providing essential financial resources. We offer support for medical bills, everyday living expenses, and long-term financial planning for veteran and nonveteran families.
These workshops focus on holistic well-being, providing women with tools for physical and emotional strength during their breast cancer journey. Topics include breast cancer screening and referrals, nutrition, exercise, mental health, and self-care.
Pairing breast cancer survivors with newly diagnosed women creates a supportive network. This mentorship offers guidance, shared experiences, and a sense of community, fostering resilience and hope.
